Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Alpine Glow Limited, doing business as Apronfold ("we", "us") for using the Apronfold app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Your account
- Accounts are created by invitation from your employer. Keep your invite code and password private.
- Your employer can add you using your email address and send you an invite email. If you did not expect one, you can ignore it.
- Give accurate information, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Your employer’s managers can turn off your access.
Using the app
Use the app for your own work training. Please do not:
- try to reach another business’s information, or any part of the app you were not given access to;
- share invite codes, or use someone else’s account;
- interfere with the app, or try to copy or take it apart;
- add content that is unlawful, harmful, or that you do not have the right to share.
Training content is general information
The lessons and quizzes about wine, beer, spirits, service, allergies, diets, and safety are general educational material. They are not professional, legal, or medical advice, and they do not replace your workplace’s own rules, training, or local laws.
For allergies and food safety especially, always follow your restaurant’s procedures and ask a manager if you are unsure. Never rely on the app alone. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Alcohol content is for workplace training for people of legal drinking age. Serve responsibly and follow local laws.
The Employee Manual, Menu, documents, and checklists are written and managed by your employer, including any lessons or quiz questions drafted by AI from a handbook or menu that your employer reviewed and approved. We host them for your employer and are not responsible for their accuracy.
Training plans, tasks, and sign-offs are set up and recorded by your employer and its trainers. A sign-off or a "training complete" in the app is your employer’s own record. It is not a licence, a certification, or a guarantee of anyone’s skill, and we are not responsible for what a plan requires or for decisions your employer makes from it.
Our content
Apronfold, including its design and the training content we provide, belongs to Alpine Glow Limited, doing business as Apronfold. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use it for your work. Content that your business adds belongs to, and is controlled by, that business.
The service
We work to keep the app running, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without promises that it will always be available, error-free, or suit every purpose. We may change, pause, or stop parts of the app.
Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made by relying on the training content in place of your workplace’s procedures. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
Ending your use
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time (Me, then Delete my account). We or your employer may suspend access if these terms are broken.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute about them or the app will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Denver, Colorado, and you and we agree to those courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
